PATNA – Handloom weavers from all over the state will get a common platform to sell and promote their products as the Bihar government is planning to start a handloom mall a Rajendra Nagar area of the city soon.
Sources in the state industries department claimed that the proposed four-storey mall, spread over an area of 8,966 square metres, would be built at a cost of INR 46.43 crore.
“The Infrastructure Development Authority (IDA), a unit of the industries department, has prepared a detailed project report for the mall,” a source said, adding construction of the mall was likely to begin after the Lok Sabha election.
