GAYA – Dreaded Maoists set aflame three JCB machines and a tractor of a road construction company near Jaigir Bhoktadih village under Barachatti police station area in the district last night.
Police said here today that around 20 extremists of outlawed CPI (Maoist) set afire JCB machines and tractor after making all employees of the road construction company captives on gunpoint. The construction company is engaged in the construction of the road between Jaigir and Nare villages under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana.

Police said that Maoists opened fire in the air to scare people before escaping from the spot.
Senior police officers and jawans of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) were investigating the matter at the spot.
