GAYA – Sleuths of Bihar State Vigilance Bureau today arrested Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI) Sujeet Kumar and computer operator Dhruv Kumar while they were accepting a bribe of ₹ 11,000 from the owner of a bus in their office.
Deputy Police Superintendent of vigilance bureau Gopal Paswan said here that Sujeet and Dhruv were caught red handed while they were accepting the bribe amount from the bus owner in their office.
The duo had demanded bribe to issue a certificate relating to bus, he added.
“Both the arrested were taken to Patna for further interrogation”, the DSP said adding that they would be produced before special vigilance court tomorrow.
