SAMASTIPUR – JD (U) president and chief minister Nitish Kumar today asserted that backward states like Bihar had made tremendous growth under NDA regime in the Centre, and so the alliance`s return to power was necessary for maintaining the growth momentum in these states.
Addressing an election meeting in favour of BJP candidate Nityanand Rai from Ujiarpur constituency at Sindhia Ghat in the district, Nitish said that both the Centre and the state government were working with the common objective of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’.
He said Bihar was making all-round growth with the support of Centre, bringing qualitative change in lives of the poor.
