Relocate Bihar projects and face the music, BJP warns Centre

Ajit Kumar - June 25, 2009

BHAGALPUR — Amid reports that Union Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee was planning to relocate two prestigious projects to West Bengal, her home state, BJP unit of Bihar has warned against any such move by the Centre.

Reacting to reports that the railway ministry is planning to shift the proposed locomotive manufacturing and wheel manufacturing units at Madhepura and Chapra to West Bengal, BJP leader and Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi on Wednesday warned the Centre not to withdraw the already announced railway projects for the State.

“Any attempt of shifting the already announced railway projects for the state by the railway ministry would spark serious protests,” Modi said at a public meeting here to mark ‘Dhanyavad Yatra’.

“The State Government will also strongly oppose any such move,” he added.

He also took a dig at former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad by alleging that he never brought the matter to the notice of UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi.

All major political parties in Bihar, including RJD and LJP, have expressed opposition to the proposal.

“It would be an insult to Bihar, if projects are shifted. We won’t let this happen,” said RJD state president Abdul Bari Siddiqui. LJPs’ state president Pashupati Nath Paras expressed similar sentiment and warned of strongest agitation.

Meanwhile, state BJP leader Rameshwar Prasad Chaurasia has asked the railway minister to come clean on the issue.

Lallu cut Bihar into 2 pieces to make her wife CM as they were not had 163 MLA as needed to unite bihar. First time he become CM from BJP support second time he got mejority and third time he does not had number again and congress supported him to form Gov. So your big leader got majority once. Now we appleae to all indian through out these Bihar destroyer back to Bihar and let them ask for a job to Rabari and lallu. Listen Raj Thackre and other goons who beat bihari all over india, these are real culprit , beat them and through out. Not all Bihari bad , because of these nonsense Biahri has to go out for Job.

Throw Bihari Yadav and Muslims from all where , then they will understand , what kind of leader they need to do development and create Job. They think Rabri is most intellegent politician in earth . Throw them out , they will understand.

This projects were announced for Bihar , when Lalu ji was the Railway Minister, in UPA government’s last term, This time when laluji got few seats he was not considered into UPA alliance ( as UPA is always is untrustworhty to its partners).
But shifting of railway projects is unacceptable and a very shameful action from UPA , we all Biharis have to fight for it till our last breath. I request lalu ji , Ram Vilas Paswam ji also to support Bihar in this fight and not let this Railway projects to go out of Bihar . It is very essential for Bihar development

If the neta’s are not going to acts then its the time for the common people to Bihar to act against the railway minister. Its shame for us that our so called former railway minister Lalu Yadav is dumb over the matter. They cannot realize the insult of Bohar so the commom people should agitate againt both Mamta and Lalu

I request all the public of Bihar and all political parties to be ready for TANDAV NRITYA in case these two project woulb be ousting from our state BIHAR. It is really a clear discriminative mark on Bihar by Railway Ministry at centre. It shows Mamta Banerjee is not Nationalism, she is fully motivated on REGIONALISM.

Dr. Manmohan Singh should intervene in such matter.

Hum sab jaante hai ye NETA BABU chup kar nanga naach karte hain, par ab to laaj sharm ko bhulkar khule aam nanga naach karne lage hain.

LET US UNITEDLY OPPOSE ANY SUCH MOVE WHICH IS AGAINST BIHAR.

IT IS A MINDLESS STEPS FOR ANY MINISTERS OF ANY DEPARTMENT,ONCE YOU OFFERED FACILITY YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO ROLL BACK AT ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. BIHAR STATE IS IT SELF A BIGGER STATE THAN WEST BENGAL AND REQUIRES MORE JOB OPPORTUNITY ALWAYS.I WOULD LIKE TO SUGGEST CENTRAL GOVERMENT TO WITH DRAW SOME OTHER PROJECT WHICH IS STILL NOT STARTED YET IN THAT STATE DUE TO THE STATE GOVERMENT CONSERVATIVE POLICY.WE STRONGLY CONDEMN THE POLICIES OF PRESENT HONBLE RAIL MINISTER.
