Sushant Singh Rajput who has just wrapped up the shoot of Nitesh Tiwari’s Chhichhore is making maximum use of his free time. The MS Dhoni star has made a trip to Bihar after 17 years.
While the actor has lived in Delhi for the greater part of his childhood and adolescence, he was born in Maldiha in Purnea district of the state. The actor was accompanied by his father KK Singh, cousin brother and a number of relatives. Sushant Singh Rajput first went to Maldiha to spend time with his paternal relations.
After spending two days with them, he headed to his maternal ancestral home, Bornai in the Khagaria district.
It seems his mom and grandmother had asked for mannat for his successful life when he was a kid. The actor lost his mother when he was 16 just before his board exams. He made use of this break to fulfill her wish.
The actor who is 33 did his mundan at the temple of Goddess Bhagwati in Khagaria. He did not shave off his hair but completed the ritual by trimming off a strand.
Sushant was accompanied by his elder brother Neeraj Kumar ‘Bablu’ and sister-in-law MLC Nutan Singh.
Sushant said he was happy to be back home in Bihar. As he followed all the rituals religiously, he said “he is a spiritual person and his faith in God has increased over the years.”
While in his village, he played cricket with his relatives, rode motorcycle and boat.
He also spoke about his desire work for the society in the field of education and health care.
Sushant is one of the very few television actors who found success in Bollywood. He has been taking on one film every year but in 2019, the young star will be seen in as many as four movies including already released Sonchiriya which opened to positive reviews but abysmal opening collections. Though Sonchiriya didn’t work at the box-office he has three films to look forward to – Drive, Chhichhore and Dil Bechara.
