Thackerays leave Mumbaikars in disarray

Ravi Pandey - November 20, 2009

When was the last time you heard the biggest joke in politics? The joke is all pervasive till the Thackerays groan in support of their misdirected doctrines. Mumbaikars are in tizzy whether to cheer for the little master Sachin Tendulkar, who recently celebrated his 20 years in world cricket, or their mahatma Bal Thackeray.

There is a specific reason for the Bal Thackeray’s sudden onslaught against Sachin which looked baseless. He saw that his nephew and rival Raj Thackeray is hogging the limelight and his son Uddhav is not able to garner votes as desired. So he thought that he himself has to take the lead. One Thackeray is preaching about the Marathi doctrines to leave the other Thackeray behind in the race.

Maharashtrians should understand that their Marathi preaching is just like Congress’ vote bank policy.

Maharashtrians must understand that Bal Thackeray is bedridden and he can only pitchfork but if you will think of something in your favor then you are making a mockery of yourself. Where all these bigots were when India was simmering after the attack of 26/11? I believe many of you have forgotten that scourge.

How can you think a labor from a man, who can’t walk by himself properly, to pave the way for others?

You know the similarity between Lalu and Bal’s reign? Both tricked the common people for years and the difference is Lalu did it when he was in reign and Bal did it all without the reign. Now tell me who bigger buffoons are Biharis or Maharashtrians? I don’t want anyone to laugh but I want you to think afresh, not for the sake of me but for the well being of the country which always gets the longest path for success.

Common people’s voice is more audible than any other personality. It’s not the voice we need, we need the accumulation of revolt to give them a free kick. There will be no referee coming to whistle you and ask for a free kick. This land is our playground and we have to decide the kick time without letting anyone intervening.

I never got the hunch that Congress is at the helm in Maharashtra. Congress is the other name for compromise, leaving the country in turmoil, sometimes in deliberations regarding Waziristan and sometimes at climate meet and every time compromising the throng of sentiments of people by letting bigots like Raj and Bal continuing their tirade.

There is no specific time to learn but there is a specific time to teach someone when they get wayward, perhaps it’s now.

hey ppl tuma saglas manacha mujra .. “marathi bhasha ka mahatvachi assavi asha prashna
apnaa samor udbhavla aahe”…for those who do not understand these two line this is for
them.. salute to every body .. why marathi language should be given priority in a
maharastrian state..lets take an example to make my point clear. say my granny staying in
satara who has studied in marathi medium school till 8th standard. she wants to visit me
in mumbai. she catches a train from her village.. she carries a small paper note on which
my address is written in marathi… she reaches cst station. there are cabbies wating outside
station.. so hails a cabbie who incidentally is a bihari. He says tohar Kahan jaana hai. first
of all my granny wont understand what he is saying any ways she hands over the chit to
bhaiiya scribbled in mararthi. for a bhaiia it is like kurla signal..theethoon daavi kadhe
vala.. kamgar nagar chi galli aali teethe ujvi kadhe vala .. mag chavathi galli ali ki davi kade
vala teetha dactar pandit koothe rahatat the vichara ani mag theethoon char ghara soodli
ki appla ghar.. no tel me how is this sardaji going to decipher this chit that she
possess…He is definately going to take her for a ride.. now if the bhaiiya knew marathi he
would not have difficulty getting my granny home without the help of the local and
waisting time.. wouldn’t he.. now this sardar is adamant and refuses to learn any other
language than bhojpuri and hindi. now tell me should my granny only occupy a cab
with only a maharastrian driver who understands marathi or just because she wants to
visit her grandchild who stays in mumbai she needs to learn hindi. mumbai is part of
maharashtra with its local language as marathi dont forget that ppl.. there is no need for
ppl in mumbai to communicate in hindi in there own state whose first language is
marathi.. my question to everyone on this forum is why should maharastrians learn hindi
just for the convenience of other who are migrating to this state.. In fact for a few
months we will speak in hindi with them but how long should a person keep speaking in
hindi with the outsider,, now you see how the tag of outside is coined.. start speaking in
marathi and you will be counted in the locals as speaking the same language brings in the
feeling of brotherhood .. we are not asking you convert your religion..we are not asking
you to stop using your native language.. we are saying when communicating with
maharashtrian start using marathi which is the local language.ps… its sad that ppl like
amitabh baacchan who made his fortune and acquired fame in mumbai or for that matter
even sharukh khan I havent seen them speak in marathi ever except for one or two lines,
forget giving interview in marathi. They are a domicile of mumbai right so more than 15
yrs in mumbai..isn’t that a long time to pickup a local
language or is it that marathi not good enough for them, is it too down market.. at the
same time i would like to point out and applaude, and my fellow maharastrians will agree
with me, abhilasha chellam and and Rahul saxsena.. these guys who do not have marathi
as their mother tongue but they sung so well in marathi we never felt that they are non
maharastrians or ” outsiders” and maharastrian ppl have voted for them and I am happy
to say they are the finalist in a leading marathi show… I am proud of my fellow
maharastrians who have voted for them not taking in to consideration their states, their
religion or their last names.. a fitting reply to those sitting in australia or any part of the
globe calling us maharastrians racist or statists .. maharastrian ppl would love to
assimilate ppl in to our culture provided ppl respect it..those who dont can get lost…we
always use to say jai hind .jai maharashtra. today i will say jai maharashtra jai hind. i am
putting my state first my nation later. Maharashtra has done a lot for the country now its
time the country return her favours. I ask you the question when mumbai is generating so
much revenue why is it so that a fellow maharastrian in vidarbha commitee suicide for
lack of funds.????.. why should
the question of seperate vidarbha arise.. why aren’t youth from vidarbha gettng
opportunity in mumbai. what the hell is hapening in maharashtra… mumbai is the
economical capital of india. I ask you what use is mumbai being an economical capital of
india if the standard of living of the fellow maharashtrian is not improved. On top of it
the media is calling the place that i call my home as Slumbai. state still have malnourished
children… infrastructure i think gujrat has better infrastructure.. Where is the money
generated from mumbai going when i don’t see anything major development happening
in Maharashtra..Mumbai has reached a saturation point where there is problem getting
water to the common man. There are not enough resources to take care of the hoards of
ppl migrating to the city. why has this situation risen… there is kolkotta (calcutta) metro,,,
there is delhi metro,, there is no maharashtra metro why only mumbai metro…The bottom
line is I WANT MY STATE TO IMPROVE. It’s high time when every true blooded
maharastrian say “First my state then the rest.” .when mumbai was drowning how many
states came to help mumbai?? none… why did that happen weren’t we an integral part of
india then??? maharashtra has always given to those ravage struck natural calamity struck
states in India and when it was their turn to return the favour where were they.?? sorry
but mumbai is no dharamshala for the poor who can just build shantis and sleep on the
footpath. these guy are cheap source of labour for the gujju traders. Dont make me post
the videos of the filth spread in mumbai. the worst thing to come to mumbai from banaras
is the paan. Bloody guys spitting every where even to the notices where it is said do not
spit. ppl spit bang on the sign itself (cannot understand local language.) arsHELLS

instead of talking foul about thakre family and maharastrians ,i will suggest that biharis should follow them in toto for the development of bihar as they are exerting for the development and interest of maharastra and marathis…..

present generation of bihari politicians and people talk too much but act too little…..

every body is talking about special status ,developmental projects ,atrocities related to bihar and biharis but i have not heard any group of politicians and people who have have demonstrated in patna streets or have shown black flags to central ministers…..

instead of blaming thakre family and maharastrians , biharis should learn lessons from them….they should try to be friendly ,adopt marathi language ,culture ,tradition and respect maharastra leaders…..this will create national harmony and benefit both sides…..

Talking about 26/11, no individual would come out and fight. It is the work of paramilitary forces and the military. Even if a politician comes out there would be more problems. Even Laloo or Nitish(best of all Bihari netas), paswan did not come. Atleast they should have come if they believe they have equal rights on Mumbai. The problem with Biharis that they know their rights but not their duties.
We all know the comments from Shivraj singh chauhan(CM, Madhya Pradesh) “Factory lagegi Satna mein, Majdoor ayenge Patna Se .Toh ye galat hai”. Even in mizoram 60 biharis were killed and others were asked to leave the states. It is quite common in north east India. Even Punjab has started to revolt against people coming from Bihar.
If one person says you are wrong its understood. If a group of people do that, then self analysis is necessary and that’s what Biharis are not doing

I dont understand why there is such hue and cry on Thakre’s statement. Why dont we understand that its bread and butter for Thakre and his family. The entire family is dependent on hatred and gundism. They dont have any agenda except criticism. God save Mumbai and our country!!

Now Shiv Sena and MNS being rejected by Mumbaikars and urban maharastraians , they have started their marathi manoos fooling spree in Rural maharastra.

God only knows when the Shiv Sena and MNS will be completely rejected , but i hope people will soon realise their politics and do it very soon.

Ravi

your thoughts are sensible and straight forward. i laugh at the blatant claims of some about Maharashtra being their state and Bihar/UP being yours/others. Their statements reflect their intellectual capacity and complete incapability towards positive debating. Please keep writing , we enjoyed the piece.

I don’t think there is anything wrong in learning from a failed state.

Now Marathis need to listen what to do and what not to, to whom? the people from the failed states!! You dont need to worry about other states Mr Ravi. Put your efforts into getting your own state to the right state.
