More tough the job you do, more suffering you get in return. The shield which protects us from mishaps has to wander like some tramp. After 26/11 our politicians haven’t learned their lessons, otherwise people wouldn’t be pillorying our jawans who are taking shelter at Gateway of India to keep vigil at Taj hotel.
One side we fulminate against encroachers who take dwelling at some vintage monuments or some at the monuments which have lost their sheen because our government’s negligence. First our government spends Rs 2 crore in renovation of Gateway of India, for what? For giving exotic tourists another chance to mock at us on seeing dangling vests and undergarments, plastic bottles laid on floor etc. Everybody wants to get result at minimum cost, but security is not a subject where you should do optimization calculations when you know terrorists have better accommodation, ammunition and technology and other support especially the ‘moolah’.
There is a purpose behind every action, faster we find out the purpose more easily we will land in cozy. If you will do a survey among the top terrorist outfits, regarding the country which is easiest to strike, you will find that it’s India without any sigh of doubt.
Many of us who want war against Pakistan without knowing that odds can go either way if war transpires, Pakistan has developed many war-heads from the surreptitious support of China to combat against their territorial rival ‘India’. War is not the option we should desire knowing that Pakistan is fetish of aggrandizing their armaments.
It’s been one year of dismal Mumbai carnage, but our security concerns still remain in dire state. Recently we tested Agni-II which was more of a fiasco than any achievement. To Congress nothing seems important than economy. They should invest some volume in security services otherwise one day they will see both Pakistan and China trespassing the borders and waking us from a reverie. So what’s the profit of waking up after getting ravaged by ‘Jihadis and Chinkies’.
We are almost on top of every list where we shouldn’t be like corruption, poverty and blah-blah. Expectations from politicians are liable to get boomerang. One side we are massacred by terrorists and other side we are massacred by our own government. ‘To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction’ some genius said. But how can it be true? There is one correction i.e. ‘Sometimes to every action there is only opposite reaction’ and if you think of equal reaction then it’s only through mouth which gets blared out because of hysterics and provocation but it subsides after some time and everyone goes back to their life chores.
Before fighting terrorists we need to fight corruption and for that we can’t even rely on government.
